Jermall Charlo will be defending his WBC middleweight title against former 154-lb world title challenger Dennis Hogan (28-2-1, 7 KOs) in December, according to Mike Coppinger. The fight is being finalized. This is another lackluster fight for the 29-year-old Charlo (29-0, 21 KOs), who is coming off of a successful title defense against Brandon Adams last June in Houston, Texas.
Middleweight world titlist Jermall Charlo has gone the 12-round distance in his last two fights, against Matt Korobov and Brandon Adams, and he is not happy about that.
Now that Charlo is set to make his second title defense against Dennis Hogan on Dec. 7 (Showtime, 9 p.m. ET) at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, he is aiming to get back to his knockout ways.

Charlo (29-0, 21 KOs), of Houston, defended the interim belt against Korobov and then made his first defense against Adams in a near-shutout decision in June after being elevated to full titleholder when Canelo Alvarez was stripped.
Hogan (28-2-1, 7 KOs), 34, an Ireland native fighting out of Australia, will be competing in his second world title fight in a row.
Hogan’s team protested the decision and sought an immediate rematch, but it was not granted. So Hogan is moving from 154 pounds up to 160 pounds to challenge Charlo.
